THE RESEARCH QUESTION
What is being investigated?
Human trials have investigated sexual processing and reproductive physiology. Different kisspeptin forms need to be distinguished.
EVIDENCE SNAPSHOT
Early human trials
A small randomised study in men with hypoactive sexual desire examined brain and physiological responses. It does not establish long-term treatment effectiveness for all causes of low libido.
